While TMZ was reporting that Lindsay's doctors at UCLA don't think the actress requires 90 days of treatment, someone on staff at Morningside Recovery facility (the place where Lindsay was originally scheduled to go) told Radar Online it is "beyond rare" for doctors to release patients early.
"It is hard to find a doctor to recommend somebody get out of treatment early, nearly impossible actually," said the [Morningside Recovery] official. "I have worked in the field for nearly 20 years and this is the first time I have ever heard of it happening. Kudos to the Lohan camp for making it happen."The Morningside staff person reportedly claimed to Radar Online that that's why Lindsay's people wanted her to go to UCLA in the first place.
"This is why the family did not want her to come to Morningside, so she could get out of rehab early and start work asap," the rep told RadarOnline.com.I don't know... this sounds a little bit like sour grapes on Morningside Recovery's part, but who knows?
People close to Lindsay tell Radar Online she's anxious to be released, but that's to be expected. She never wanted to go in in the first place! Well, if Lindsay truly wants to get help, she has the resources to do it. (imnotobsessed)
